David Fernández Rivas is a Full Professor holding positions at the MESA+ Institute, Mesoscale Chemical Systems department, and TechMed Centre. He has external affiliations as an Invited Distinguished Professor at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and a Research Affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (since 2017). His research focuses on microfluidics, bubble dynamics, green chemistry, and sonochemistry, with applications in drug delivery and sustainable chemical processes.
