David F. Werner

David F. Werner is a Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Psychology at Binghamton University. His research focuses on understanding molecular mechanisms underlying alcohol action, addiction, neuroplasticity, and neuropsychiatric disorders such as anxiety and OCD. He employs molecular, biochemical, and neuropharmacological methods in cellular and animal models to study gene-product roles in alcohol effects during development.
