David D. Kim is a Professor at the Department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies and serves as Associate Vice Provost at UCLA's International Institute. His research bridges postcolonial studies, global/migration dynamics, human rights, and digital humanities. He leads the Global Studies Summer Program in The Hague, focusing on international justice frameworks. Kim holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University and has held prestigious fellowships from ACLS and Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
