Dr. David Cutting is a Reader (Education) / Associate Professor at Queen's University Belfast's School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He holds a PhD from the University of East Anglia and is a National Teaching Fellow (2024), Eaton Fellow, and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
His research focuses on software engineering (legacy systems, mining repositories) and computing education (project-based learning, VR/AR integration). Teaching roles include modules on Cloud Computing, Parallel/Distributed Systems, and Systems Administration.
