David Castro Liñares

David Castro Liñares is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences, University of Vigo, affiliated with the Department of Public Law on the Vigo campus. He earned his PhD from the University of A Coruña in 2019 with a thesis titled Penitentiary Execution and Risk Assessment Instruments and Risk Management in the Spanish Penalty Model, supervised by Dr. José Ángel Brandariz and Dr. Jose Antonio Ramos Vazquez.

Research Focus: His work centers on legal frameworks for penitentiary systems, risk assessment tools, and risk management strategies within the Spanish penal model. Key areas include public law, criminal justice reform, and legal risk analysis.
