Dr. David Brown is Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at East Texas A&M University with over 40 years' experience shaping early childhood policy and pedagogy. He holds a Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education from Texas A&M-Commerce and developed the Texas EC-3 certification standards.
His research investigates literacy/numeracy development in low-income communities through partnerships with Head Start programs. Publications examine science curriculum efficacy, family literacy models, and behavioral interventions.
