Dr. David Broadway is a Research Fellow at RMIT University's School of Science and Department of Physics. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne in 2020, focusing on Nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond for sensing and imaging applications. From 2020–2023, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Basel, Switzerland, under Patrick Maletinsky, specializing in cryogenic scanning nitrogen-vacancy magnetometry of 2D magnetic materials. Since 2023, he has been an ARC DECRA Fellow at RMIT, continuing research into low-dimensional condensed matter systems.
