David Berube is a Professor in the Department of Communication at North Carolina State University, affiliated with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. He directs the Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCOST) Project and serves as Associate Core Faculty in the College of Natural Resources. His research focuses on science communication, risk communication, environmental disasters, climate change, and pandemic resilience. He holds a B.A. in Experimental Psychology/Biology from Seton Hall University, an M.A. in Speech/Theatre from Montclair State College, and a Ph.D. in Communication from New York University.
