Dave Valliere

Dr. Dave Valliere is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Business Strategy at Ryerson University's Ted Rogers School of Management, where he founded the Entrepreneurship Research Institute. With graduate degrees in both engineering (BASc, MEng) and business (MBA, PhD), he brings interdisciplinary expertise to his work. His 30+ years of industry experience spans technology, finance, and venture capital.

Research Focus: Dr. Valliere's scholarship examines entrepreneurial ecosystems, cognitive psychology in venture creation, incubator development, and cross-cultural entrepreneurship. His work integrates behavioral science with practical venture development frameworks, particularly in technology commercialization contexts.

Publications: Recent articles explore university business incubators (2020), mindfulness in entrepreneurship (2019), cross-cultural entrepreneurial logics (2017), and measurement of entrepreneurial intent (2017). His research consistently addresses both theoretical frameworks and practical applications in venture development.
