Dave Rischie is a Professor in the Computer Science department at Western Nevada College (WNC) under the Workforce, Career and Technical Education office. He has been a faculty member since 1996, after serving as a part-time instructor starting in 1992.

Riske's teaching spans a broad range of Information Technology topics, including PC repair, computer networking, and applications. His philosophy emphasizes helping students connect with their interests and leverage IT skills in diverse fields, such as his student's transition to working with sensors in the Department of Forestry.
