Dave Aldred serves as a Lecturer in Business and PhD Researcher at Canterbury Christ Church University, based in the School of Business, Law, and Policing. He transitioned to academia after 35 years in financial services, including 15 years as a Managing Director.
His research concentrates on:
- Global Financial Services and Fintech innovation
- Digital Transformation strategies in corporate banking
- Strategic Leadership with ESG integration
- Working Capital Management and payment systems
Externally, he chairs the education charity Talk The Talk, delivering Oracy training to UK secondary schools.
