Darren Mathews

Darren Mathews, Ed.D., is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program at the Cannon-Clary College of Education, Harding University, where he has served since 2019. His academic focus spans school culture, social foundations, school leadership, philosophy of education, and educational psychology.

He graduated from Harding University in 1990 and has been a professional educator since then, with prior experience as a junior high/high school teacher, coach, and principal. At Harding, he teaches courses at both bachelor’s and master’s levels, emphasizing school leadership and educational philosophy.
