Darko Joksimovic

Dr. Darko Joksimovic is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Civil Engineering Department at Toronto Metropolitan University. His expertise spans Urban Water Systems, Green Infrastructure, Decision Support, and Hydroinformatics. He holds a PhD from the University of Exeter (2007), MASc from the University of Toronto (1999), and BEng from Toronto Metropolitan University (1997).

His research focuses on solving complex urban water challenges, including stormwater management, wastewater discharge, and the water-energy nexus. He leads initiatives like the Hydrology Lab and the Flushability Lab at Ryerson Urban Water.
