Dr. Eng. Dariusz Strzęciwilk is a Lecturer at Vistula University, specializing in Computer Science. He holds a PhD in Technical Sciences (with distinction) from the University of Silesia and Silesian University of Technology. His roles include heading the Cisco Academy since 2008, where he delivers authorized courses. Previously, he served as Head of the Department of Applied Computer Science (2013–2016) and Head of the Department of Modeling and Optimization (2017–2020) at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW).
His research focuses on computer networks, Cisco technologies, VoIP, Petri nets in QoS modeling, systems modeling, and business process optimization. He collaborates with Memorial University (Canada) and BOC Information Technologies on business process management and network analysis. He has supervised over 100 students and authored/co-authored ~50 scientific articles, presented globally. His work is supported by EU-funded projects.
Teaching interests include systems analysis, network testing, and Petri nets applications. He actively engages in interdisciplinary research, blending technical networks with business process efficiency.
