Dario Gaggio

Dario Gaggio is a Professor in the Department of History at the University of Michigan. He holds a PhD from Northwestern University (1999) and a Laurea cum Laude in History from the University of Florence (1992). His research focuses on Modern Italy, political economy, agrarian and environmental history, and quantitative methods. He is affiliated with the Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia and has been recognized with the Newcomen Prize for an outstanding article in Enterprise and Society.
