Darcy Spicer

Dr. Darcy Spicer is a Clinical Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Medical Oncology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC). He has been on faculty since 1980, initially serving as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine. His roles include medical oncology attending physician at LAC+USC Medical Center and USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, and chair of Keck's Institutional Review Board. He holds multiple U.S. patents for medical inventions and co-directs the Lynne Cohen Clinic.

His research focuses on breast cancer mechanisms, clinical trials, and the impact of exercise on cancer patients' outcomes. Key areas include genetic testing integration, tumor immune landscapes, gut microbiome effects, and financial barriers in clinical trials.
