Darbi Berry

Darbi Berry holds multiple roles at the University of San Diego (USD), including Adjunct Professor in the Environmental and Ocean Sciences Department and Director of Climate and Environment Programs at the Nonprofit Institute. She is also Director of the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative (since 2021), Co-Regional Coordinator for the National Ocean Sciences Bowl, and Chair of the Alliance of Regional Collaboratives for Climate Adaptation.

Her educational background includes a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida and an M.S. in Environmental and Ocean Sciences from USD. Her work focuses on climate adaptation, partnerships, and capacity-building initiatives related to coastal resilience, energy efficiency, and geospatial systems.

Beyond academia, Berry manages strategic operations for climate resilience projects and leads fundraising efforts for regional climate initiatives. She actively contributes to interdisciplinary environmental policy and program development.
