Danny Williams serves as Instructor of the Black Bear Men’s Chorus and Executive Director of the Collins Center for the Arts at the University of Maine. He holds a B.A. in Music (1991) and M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration (1994) from UMaine. His career spans roles in Admissions, Enrollment Management, Alumni Association leadership, and Foundation work across UMaine and Eastern Maine Community College.
Active in arts advocacy, Williams chairs UMaine’s Patrons of the Arts and serves on the Maine Center/Collins Center Arts Board. He received the Vincent A. Hartgen Award in 2005 for arts contributions. Community roles include Board membership at Penobscot Community Health Care and prior service with Bangor Rotary Club and Girl Scouts of Maine.
Williams grew up in Bangor and resides in Orono with his wife Emily Cain.
