Danny Marks

Dr. Danny Marks is an Assistant Professor in Environmental Policy and Politics at Dublin City University's School of Law and Government. His academic journey includes prior roles at City University of Hong Kong and postdoctoral research at the University of Toronto. He holds a PhD from the University of Sydney and an MA from Johns Hopkins University.

His research focuses on political ecology, environmental justice, climate governance, and disaster risk reduction in Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand. Notable themes include urban climate resilience, environmental inequality, and governance challenges in disaster recovery.

Dr. Marks has collaborated with organizations like the World Bank, Rockefeller Foundation, and NGOs in Southeast Asia. His work bridges academic research with practical policy interventions, emphasizing equitable solutions to environmental challenges.
