Danny Denton is Interim Director of Creative Writing and Lecturer at University College Cork, specializing in innovative fiction and contemporary Irish literature. His creative practice explores narrative experimentation and place-based storytelling.
Education:
MA in Writing from NUI Galway (2006), currently completing PhD at UCC.

- Forthcoming novel 'Aidagara' (Atlantic, 2026)

Teaching:
Leads modules on novel writing, short story craft, and fiction workshops. Former editor of The Stinging Fly literary journal (2018-2022), nurturing new Irish writing talent.
