Danijela Savić is a Principal Research Fellow at the Institute of Brain and Behavioral Sciences (IBISS), affiliated with the University of Belgrade. Her research focuses on neuroinflammation, neuroendocrinology, and neurodegenerative diseases, with expertise in CNS cells in vitro and redox biology.

Her scientific contributions include a COST Short Term Scientific Mission grant and collaborations across disciplines like immunology, metabolism, and natural products research.
A member of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies, Serbian Neuroscience Society, and Serbian Biological Society, she contributes to neurobiology and nervous system disease research through experimental models and interdisciplinary studies.
