Danielle Williams

Danielle Williams is a Part-Time Lecturer at the University of Southern Maine (USM), teaching in the Special Education and School Psychology programs across the University of Maine System (UMS) campuses. She also works full-time as a School Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst in RSU 10, Western Foothills of Maine.

• Education: PsyD in School Psychology (USM, 2015), MS in School Psychology (USM, 2013), B.Mus in Music (Anna Maria College).

Her professional work focuses on multi-tiered systems of support for academics and behavior, crisis planning and intervention, special education evaluations, and supervision of graduate students. She is actively involved in professional organizations, serving on the Maine Department of Education’s Advisory Committee for School Psychology and chairing the Member Services committee for the Maine Association of School Psychologists.

Her teaching areas include Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, Assessment in Special Education, Physical Bases of Behavior, and Professional Ethics.

She contributes to academic and behavioral consultation with teachers, direct student intervention, and district-level planning.
