Danielle Lewis

Danielle Lewis is a Professor and Director of the Center for Excellence in Advocacy at Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Northern Kentucky University. She also serves as Interim Director of the Field Placement Program, overseeing intern and extern opportunities. Prior to her full-time faculty appointment in 2021, she was an adjunct professor at Chase College of Law.

Lewis specializes in Employment Law and Disability Law, with a focus on advocacy and legal interpretation. Her 2010 scholarship on ADA compliance highlights her interest in individualized legal analysis of major life activities in disability law.

Professional Background: Before joining NKU faculty, she practiced as a partner at Reminger Co. in Louisville, Kentucky, defending employers and businesses in professional liability cases. Her work bridges litigation expertise with academic advocacy training.
