Daniele Girardi is a Lecturer in Economics at King's College London's Department of Political Economy, part of the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy and School of Politics & Economics. Previously, he held academic positions at the University of Massachusetts Amherst as Assistant and Associate Professor. His research focuses on political economy, empirical macroeconomics, and applied econometrics, with emphasis on topics like policy impacts, demand dynamics, and institutional shocks.
He serves as an Associate Editor for journals including Review of Economic Surveys and Review of Keynesian Economics. His teaching includes advanced macroeconomics and quantitative methods. He supervises PhD theses in political economy, empirical macroeconomics, and applied microeconomics.
