Dr. Daniela Peluso is a Senior Lecturer in Social Anthropology at the University of Kent's School of Anthropology and Conservation, holding a PhD from Columbia University. Her work bridges Amazonian ethnography and corporate anthropology, with special focus on indigenous communities in Peru and Bolivia. As an Associate Director at Chacruna Institute, she leads initiatives for psychedelic safety standards. She actively manages the Lowland South Americanists listserv (LOSAN) and serves in professional organizations like SALSA and People and Plants International.
