Prof. Dr. Daniela Marzo is a Full Professor of Romance Philology (French and Italian Linguistics) at the University of Freiburg, Germany. Her research focuses on morphology, semantics, and contact linguistics with particular emphasis on Sardinian and Occitan languages. She co-edits the Italian Journal of Italian Language and Literature and has supervised numerous PhD and MA theses on topics ranging from language revitalization to lexical motivation.
