Daniela Martinek

Daniela Martinek is an Associate Professor at the University of Salzburg and currently holds leadership roles as the Rector of the Salzburg University of Teacher Education since October 2021. She is affiliated with the School of Education and heads the Department of Educational Science, School Research and School Practice (BIWI). Her position includes administrative responsibilities within the university’s educational sciences division.

Her research focuses on educational science, school research methodologies, pedagogical practices, and socialization processes in educational settings. She is also involved in teaching-learning research and contributes to empirical studies on educational policy and school practices.
