Daniela Bracke is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at the University of Essex. She is also a postgraduate research student in the Department of Government. Her academic background includes a BA in Linguistics, Literature, and Cultural Studies from TU Dresden (2017) and an MA in Conflict, Security, and Development from the University of Exeter (2019).
Her research interests span Sociology, Criminology, Conflict Studies, Security Studies, Development Studies, and Cultural Studies, reflecting her interdisciplinary academic journey. She combines expertise from her linguistic and cultural studies background with contemporary issues in conflict and development.
Ms. Bracke’s current role involves academic support, including designated hours on Fridays from 11-12pm. She is based at the Colchester Campus and can be contacted via email for appointments.
