Dr. Daniel Zuj is a Lecturer in the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Tasmania, specializing in experimental psychopathology. His research focuses on associative learning mechanisms underlying fear and anxiety disorders, particularly PTSD, investigating psychophysiological stress responses during threat learning and extinction. He has collaborated nationally and internationally on projects addressing avoidance behaviors in contexts like the pandemic. Prior to UTAS, he held a Lecturer position at Swansea University (2018–2021), contributing to a Welsh Government-funded study on pandemic-related anxieties. He holds a PhD (2017) and Master of Professional Psychology (2023) from UTAS, alongside certifications like Fellow of Advance HE.
