Daniel Wise

Professor Daniel Wise is a James McGill Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McGill University. His research focuses on Geometric Group Theory, with contributions to the study of cubical complexes, hyperbolic groups, and subgroup structures. He is renowned for his work on the virtually special cube complexes, which has had profound implications in low-dimensional topology and geometric group theory.
