Daniel Silvestre

Daniel Silvestre is an Assistant Professor at NOVA University of Lisbon's School of Science and Technology, researching fault-tolerant distributed systems and networked control. His work develops set-valued estimation methods and resilient consensus algorithms for applications in multi-agent coordination and network security. As principal investigator of the FirePuma project (€840k funding), he designs sensor fusion systems for early wildfire detection.
