Daniel Moscovici is a Professor of Environmental Studies & Sustainability in the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Stockton University, an institution with campuses in the ecologically sensitive Pinelands National Reserve and on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. His academic and professional work bridges environmental planning, sustainability policy, and experiential education.

He integrates Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and field-based methodologies into both research and teaching.
His recent publications span topics including wine sustainability certifications, ecological footprint analysis of city sustainability plans, cruise tourism impacts in Dominica, and land preservation in the Northern Forest. These works reflect a consistent trend toward policy-relevant, interdisciplinary sustainability research with practical applications for communities, industries, and governments.
