Daniel Karnuta is an Assistant Professor of Instruction and Director of the Professional Program in Healthcare Management at the University of Texas at Dallas's Naveen Jindal School of Management. He holds a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) from The American University (1991) and a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University (1985). With over 30 years of professional experience, his expertise spans healthcare finance, accounting, taxation, and strategic management.
Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Conifer Health Solutions and held senior finance roles at Perot Systems Corporation. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. Courses taught include Healthcare Accounting, Advanced External Auditing, and Intermediate Financial Accounting. Professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Before joining UTD full-time, he was an adjunct lecturer at George Mason University, American University, and UTD itself.
