Daniel Johnson is a Professor at the Hochschule für nachhaltige Entwicklung Eberswalde (HNEE) holding the Professorship for Value-Based Forest Economics. He focuses on socio-ecological forest management, alternative economic approaches for forests, and holistic evaluations of human-nature relationships, with expertise in ecological economics and ecosystem services valuation.
- Education: M.Sc. in Water and Environmental Management from Leibniz Universität Hannover (2016), B.Sc. in Environmental and Resource Management from Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg (2014), and Ph.D. in Economics from ESCP Business School Berlin (2021).
