Daniel Jennings Haase

Dr. Daniel J. Haase is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He holds a secondary appointment in Surgery and serves as the Medical Director of the Critical Care Resuscitation Unit (CCRU) at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Dr. Haase is a dual-trained emergency medicine and critical care physician with clinical expertise in managing time-sensitive critical illnesses. He specializes in bedside ultrasonography, critical care transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and directs fellowships in Emergency Medicine-Surgical Critical Care and Extracorporeal Life Support at Shock Trauma Center.
