Daniel Jackson

Daniel Jackson is a Professor of Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and serves as the associate director of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). His pioneering work spans software design, formal methods, and practical applications across critical domains.

His research focuses on Software Engineering and Formal Methods, particularly through the Alloy modeling language framework, with significant contributions to concept design for structured software architecture. Applications extend to air-traffic control systems, medical proton therapy software, and autonomous vehicle development, emphasizing usability and system dependability in high-stakes environments.
