Professor Daniel Fulda holds the chair of Modern German Literature at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, where he also directs the Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of the European Enlightenment (IZEA) board. He has held visiting professorships at institutions including EPHE/EHESS (Paris), University of Notre Dame (USA), and ENS (Lyon). Since 2016, he has been an Ordinary Member of the Saxon Academy of Sciences and Humanities, co-directing the PROPYLÄEN interacademic project on Goethe's biographical works since 2023.
