Daniel Díaz-Fuentes is a Full Professor of Economics at the University of Cantabria and leads the Econpoint research group. He has held academic positions at prestigious institutions including the Universities of Oxford, Carlos III-Madrid, Buenos Aires, Cornell, and London School of Economics. Currently, he serves as president of the World Economy Society and has directed inter-university academic programs in Economics from 2005 to 2019.
