معرفی
Associate Professor Daniel Daners is affiliated with the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sydney. He holds a PhD from the University of Zurich (1992). His research focuses on partial differential equations, elliptic and parabolic boundary value problems, spectral theory, operator theory, and analytic semigroups. His work aligns with research strengths in Complex Systems and Precision Health.
Research Interests: Daners' expertise includes domain perturbation for boundary value problems, spectral analysis of operators, and applications in mathematical biology. He has contributed to studies on logistic growth in seasonally changing environments and positivity properties of operator semigroups.
Advising: Current student: Mark PERRIN. Professional Activities include organizing international conferences and workshops on nonlinear PDEs, as well as coordinating Mathematics Special Studies Programs.
Publications: Over 70 articles spanning 1992–2025, including works on Faber-Krahn inequalities, semigroup positivity, and elliptic equations on rough domains. His recent work emphasizes operator semigroup theory and applications in mathematical biology.
