Daniel Castilla Núñez is an Associate Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), affiliated with the School of Education and the Department of Pedagogy and Specific Didactics. His teaching focuses on Art Education: Plastic and Visual Arts for primary education programs.

His artistic practice, including exhibitions like Topografies + Caixes (2014) and The Unbeatable Man (2016), investigates the intersection of advertising imagery and artistic creativity through mixed media techniques.

While primarily active in art education, Daniel maintains a technical blog covering virtualization and Linux administration. Recent posts include step-by-step guides for creating Linux Mint virtual machines, disk imaging with Clonezilla, and system configuration workflows.
