Daniel Campos Moreno

Daniel Campos Moreno is a faculty member in the Department of Physics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He holds a Ph.D. in Physics (2005) and a B.Sc. in Physics (2001) from UAB. His research focuses on stochastic processes, random walk models, ecological systems, and interdisciplinary applications of statistical physics.

His work bridges physics with ecology and education, as seen in studies on ant foraging and role-playing in environmental education.

Publications span topics like optimal collective searches, first-passage times, and spatiotemporal dynamics. He has supervised 17 research works and collaborates internationally on stochastic systems and ecological applications.
