Daniel C. Jaffurs

Daniel C. Jaffurs, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery with specialization in plastic and craniofacial surgery. He practices at the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Institute and is affiliated with UCI Plastic Surgery.

• Education: Biochemistry (BS) from University of New Hampshire, Medicine (MD) and Molecular Genetics (PhD) from University of Pittsburgh
• Training: Plastic Surgery at Guthrie Clinic, Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin/Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin

Dr. Jaffurs focuses on pediatric plastic surgery, cleft lip/palate, and genetic craniofacial abnormalities. He specializes in distraction osteogenesis for congenital defects and adult facial trauma reconstruction.

He is Board Certified in Plastic and General Surgery, with extensive clinical and research presentations at national meetings.
