Daniel Blumstein

Daniel Blumstein is a Professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His research focuses on the evolution of social and antipredator behavior, particularly in marmots, and explores how these behaviors influence conservation biology and urban ecology. He has conducted extensive studies at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory and investigates ecological responses to climate change and human disturbances.
