Daniel Berner is a Researcher and doctoral student in the Department of Innovation and Knowledge Economy at Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI. He holds a M.Sc. in International Business and Economics from University of Hohenheim, where he also completed his bachelor's degree with research exchanges at Kyushu University and Saitama University in Japan.
His research investigates digital transformation processes in German SMEs, industrial innovation, and sustainable business models in bioeconomy contexts. Current projects examine technological adoption barriers and organizational change management strategies in manufacturing sectors.
