Daniel Baillargeon

Dr. Daniel Baillargeon serves as an Adjunct Professor of Education at Ave Maria University. With over 20 years of experience in Catholic education, he has held roles including principal, superintendent of the Diocese of Springfield, MA, and founder of 'Mission Driven Catholic,' a consultancy aiding dioceses nationwide in strategic planning, enrollment management, and integrating Catholic identity. He holds a B.A. in Music from the University of Connecticut, an M.Ed. in School Administration from Sul Ross/Rio Grande College, and a Ph.D. in Catholic Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The Catholic University of America.

His research focuses on advancing the evangelizing mission of the Catholic Church through education. He actively speaks at conferences such as the NCEA Leadership Summit and Diocesan in-services, addressing topics like virtue-driven teaching, family engagement in faith, and catechesis. His YouTube channels 'Saturday Morning Coffee with Dan and Megan' and 'Keep the Faith' support pre-evangelization and family catechesis, particularly during the pandemic.

Dr. Baillargeon currently teaches EDUC 508: Staff, Academic, and Program Evaluation. His consulting work emphasizes mission-driven leadership, accreditation, and budgeting in Catholic schools. He has presented widely on themes including the role of the Eucharist in Catholic identity, marriage as a vocation, and the legacy of St. Joseph.
