Dani Rodrik is the Ford Foundation Professor of International Political Economy at Harvard University's Kennedy School, specializing in globalization, economic growth, and political economy. He co-directs the Reimagining the Economy Program and the Economics for Inclusive Prosperity network.
His research focuses on inclusive economic policies, trade, and development in both advanced and developing economies. Notable works include The Globalization Paradox (2011), Economics Rules (2015), and Shared Prosperity in a Fractured World (2025). He has held leadership roles, including President of the International Economic Association (2021–23).
Rodrik’s articles explore topics like premature deindustrialization, global governance, and the distribution of economic research. His awards include the Albert O. Hirschman Prize (2020) and the Princess of Asturias Award for Social Sciences (2020).
