Dani Fadda

Dani Fadda is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas), affiliated with the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science. He holds a PhD from Southern Methodist University (1996). His research focuses on Thermal Fluids Sciences, Multiphase Flow & Separation, Filtration, and innovative teaching methodologies in mechanical engineering education.

His work spans experimental and applied research, including studies on heat transfer enhancement via microporous coatings, thermal ground plane design, and the integration of advanced technologies like augmented reality in classrooms. He has also contributed significantly to adapting engineering education during the global pandemic, exploring online delivery methods and student engagement strategies.
