Danette Schloeder

Danette Schloeder is an Assistant Professor of Nursing and Director of the Accelerated Nursing Program at the University of Providence’s School of Health Professions. She holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (Post University) and certifications in obstetrics, patient safety, and electronic fetal monitoring. Schloeder has nearly 30 years of clinical and leadership experience, including roles as a clinical nurse director, perinatal educator, and senior clinical specialist.

Research & Professional Involvement: Schloeder focuses on nursing leadership, patient safety, and obstetric care. She chairs the Alaska Board of Nursing, serves on the National Council of State Boards of Nursing’s Board of Directors, and participates in NCLEX exam committees. Her certifications include RNC-OB, C-EFM, and C-ONQS.

Teaching & Leadership: She teaches courses like Nursing Ethics, Quality & Safety in Leadership, and Nursing Capstone. Her part-time adjunct role began in 2017, and she directs UP’s RN-to-BSN program.
