Danae Martinez

Danae Martinez is a Lecturer at San Francisco State University, specializing in Ethnic Studies and African American Studies. She holds a BA in Africana Studies from Laney and Merritt Colleges, and an MA in Ethnic Studies from San Francisco State University, with a thesis focusing on Black/African diasporic resistance movements in South Africa, Jamaica, and the US. Her work integrates global perspectives on Pan-Africanism, anti-colonialism, and international solidarity.
