Dana Davis

Dana Davis is an Assistant Professor in the School of Education at Maranatha Baptist University (MBU), where she has been teaching since 2011. She teaches both on-campus and online courses and has played a significant leadership role in the university's online education initiatives.

• MS in Education, University of Wisconsin-Stout
• BS in Elementary Education, Southern Illinois University

Her professional focus lies in online learning, instructional design, and Christian education. With prior experience teaching 4th grade in a Christian school, junior high in a public school, and homeschooling, she brings diverse K–12 insights into teacher preparation. Her work has significantly shaped MBU's distance learning programs.

Dana is actively involved in campus life, including the Global Encounters mission team to the Philippines and Southeast Asia. She has delivered workshops at the Keystone Educators Conference in Pennsylvania, highlighting her engagement with broader educational communities.

She is married to Dr. Matt Davis, Executive Vice President of MBU, and they have three sons. In her local church, she serves as a preschool teacher for the Tiny Trackers ministry and assists in teaching the Adult Bible Fellowship.

Her other interests include reading and spending time with family.
